Michael L. Reed’s practice involves a wide range of corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, venture capital investments, securities law compliance, corporate governance, advice to boards on their fiduciary duties and other general business and contract matters. He has represented public and private companies, investment banks, REITs, technology and consumer product companies, start-ups, special and independent committees of boards and individuals.
Mr. Reed is a former partner of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. He joined the firm in 1994 and was a member of the firm's Corporate Transactions Department for over 21 years.
Mr. Reed received his law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1994. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in economics from the University of California, Berkeley in 1988. He is a member of the State Bar of California.
